What is P90X3?

It's an extreme workout program designed to burn fat, build lean muscle, and get you ripped in
30 minutes a day.

Tony Horton, the creator of P90X, came up with this awesome workout series which includes explosive routines packed with dynamic & high-intensity moves.

You should definitely try it if......

-You have a hard time keeping up with a workout program because your schedule is JAM PACKED!

-You enjoy extreme workouts, but don't like to waste time!

-You simply enjoy shorter workouts that still get you in the BEST shape of your life.

Why are people loving P90X3?

Major studies show that you get the most out of a workout within the first 30 minutes.

Even those people with incredibly tight schedules can always find 30 minutes a day to work out.

Most moves in this program can be modified, so literally anyone at any fitness level can

do P90X3.

Inspiration & Motivation

I get the inspiration to workout from many different sources.....from my fellow Bombshells on Facebook, friends asking if I gotten a workout in today, my hubby.....but, I'm not gonna lie....sometimes I really just have to drag myself off the couch or out of bed and FORCE it.  It may not be pretty or what I really WANT to do when I'm getting my tennis shoes on and that portable DVD player out, but hey....I DO NOT have time for excuses....I have GOALS to reach!!!

Even though I would have loved to lay on the couch all evening watching Netflix, I am sooo glad I pushed myself and got that workout in.  Do you ever have to drag yourself to your workout? lol

Motivation is required weekly, if not daily. You  aren't just going to start on your healthy journey and magically stay motivated and excited throughout. You have to find ways to STAY motivated....to keep the passion going and to do it even when you don't want to.

Anyways, have a great day everyone and remember to focus on your goals! Don't let the longing to be lazy over take your dream to achieve those goals!!  ~Kendra~

It's gonna be a BIG year!!!

2014 promises to be the BIGGEST YEAR in Beachbody history, and THIS girl has NO PLANS of slowing down! Because of that, I am currently looking for some NEW BLOOD for my team and will be interviewing for 10 apprenticeship positions! (available to NEW COACHES in 2014 only) I will be hand-selecting & personally mentoring these individuals in both a small group setting and with one on one calls.

During the first 3 months, I will focus on teaching you the same system that has helped me reach the level of success I have today!
But, remember, it is UP TO YOU to choose to APPLY that knowledge in your own business! What we do in The Bombshell Dynasty WORKS, there is NO denying it!

If you believe YOU have what it takes and are looking for something that both challenges you as a leader, while at the same time gives you the ability to change lives and create the life of your dreams...

Lemon Water-A yummy morning cleanser!

Number 1
It balances pH--Lemon is an acidic food, but once metabolized, it becomes alkaline. Why bother? To put it most simply, alkalines help keep the oxygen in your blood at a safe pH level, and this helps your body heal itself (less yucky medicine), assimilate nutrients and fight off unwanted sickness.

Number 2
It keeps skin clear and glowing! Its helps to hydrate and moisturize your skin from the inside out. It also contains A TON of Vitamin C, which helps with wrinkles and blemishes. ((Yay for that!!))

Number 3
It kick starts the digestive system--a big glass of lemon water is a great way to start the morning! It increases urination which helps purify it. It also helps with heartburn and constipation. lol It has a strong cleansing effect and helps eliminate those bad toxins!

Number 4
It helps with weight loss--Did you know that keeping your body in an alkaline state can help people lose weight faster? It really give your metabolism a nice kick start to the day!!! They also help keep one full, longer....much like drinking a glass of water, put they pack a bit more punch. They also have a diuretic effect, which helps with water weight gain.

Number 5
It helps kick the soda habit--I have found that adding lemon to sparkling water and adding a whole lot of ice satisfies any sugary drink craving I might have. I gave up cokes over 2 years ago and I really don't miss it AT ALL. I don't think I could stand the sweetness of it now.

Try to drink it through a straw to keep the lemon off your teeth so the acid doesn't wear on your tooth enamel.

10 Tips to eating healthy while eating out:

1. Have some bran
If possible, just before you go out, have a small bowl of high-fiber cold cereal with skim or almond milk and all-natural sweetener. This will take the edge off your appetite, so you won't feel like you're starving and end up binge eating.
2. Order water
Drinking water will not only help you feel fuller, it's also ZERO calories and healthy.  It's an all-around better option than sugary soda.

3. Eat Slow down and Savor Your Food
Remember to eat slowly to give your brain the time it needs to realize you are FULL. Put your fork down between mouthfuls, chew completely and savor your meal.  Chowing down as quickly as possible leads to you eating way more than you even realize.

4. Say Bye Bye to Bread
Ask the server not to bring bread or to remove the bread basket once everyone else had a chance to grab some. The longer it sits on the table, the more likely you will be tempted to dig in.

5. Start with soup or salad
Order a soup or salad as you're 1st course. This will keep you from being hungry while others are filling up on bread. Stick to chunky vegetable or bean-based soups. Avoid cream-based soups, such as potato soup. When ordering a salad, as for the dressing on the side so you decide how much to use.  Avoid Caesar salads, which already have dressing and are generally high calorie.

6. Ask for extra veggies
Since you probably won’t have the option of boiled potatoes or organic brown rice.....ask for a double serving of vegetables instead.

7. Stick with lean protien
Try low-fat cuts of meat or poultry.Fish and shellfish are excellent choices but stay away from breading and fried options. Remember that serving sizes tend to be VERY generous in restaurants, so I usually opt for only eating a portion of the meal.

8. Ask for a side of sauce
As with salads, ask that any sauces or gravies be served on the side so you can use your own portions.

9. Take it to-go
Ask for a to-go box as soon as you get your meal and then (Before eating) scoop 1/2 into the to-go box. You can also try asking if they serve 'light plates' if you don't want to take home leftovers.

10. Finish with fruit
For dessert, instead of cake or options that contain endless amounts of bad sugars, try choosing fresh fruit and berries—without the ice cream, of course! If you are hankering for something sweet, sprinkle on some all-natural sweetener like Stevia. (I always keep a few packs in my purse just in case)

Keep the Faith & Keep it up!!!

How many of you eat healthy, workout and follow your plan exactly...and then decide to weigh yourself and NOTHING has changed making you feel like you want to give up, eat everything in sight and throw your hands up to say...I guess I'm just going to be like this FOREVER !??  (((I've been there, for sure!)))
Trust me, I KNOW firsthand how frustrating this journey can be. Sometimes it feels like you're just spinning in circles...going nowhere fast.

BUT...I am asking you to keep going and have FAITH. You can set a goal to have a crazy INCREDIBLE transformation, to lose weight and fit into those skinny jeans...But to see success and MAINTAIN results....FIRST you must focus on creating healthy habits, putting healthy practices into place and getting your mind right.

The weight wasn't gained in one day...it's not going to disappear overnight either!  Unfortunately, all things worth having take time. Focus on what you can control: maintaining a healthy routine and being excited about your goals.

I take accountability pics, because it renews my mind each and every time I see them! It reminds me WHY my goals are important to me...WHY I'm ok skipping the pizza (My weakness)...and WHY I am committed to living a healthy lifestyle. Taking that weekly pic is going to put you in the right mindset and remind you WHY your goals are SO important to you!

Let's all pledge to stop the negative self talk, beating ourselves up and getting down on ourselves when others around us meet their goals.  Don't let the frustrations of the journey deter you from the ultimate goal.  Keep your eye on the prize!!

So take a chance to think about your WHY...what will keep you motivated? Why are you on this journey? What is your WHY???    ~Kendra~

Through the years

I cant believe that I have been passionate about health and fitness for 3years now. (Starting on year 4)  I initially lost about 70lbs from 2011-2012.  Then in November of 2012, I got engaged and through all the weeding uproar I gained 10lbs.  In 2013, I got married and got back on the health & fitness track along with becoming a Beachbody coach.  Now it's 2014 and I; ready to blow this passion out of the water.

Before pushing forward into the unknown, I thought I would take a little look back:

I wonder what 2014 is going to hold...well see. :-)  ~Kendra~

Let's give more this year!

Giving more isn't just about doing your best in your own journey.  It's also about giving more to others. In 2013 I was able to participate in giving to others in several ways....food drives, toy drives, helping people loose weight and get healthy, etc.  It's a new year and a fresh start.  No matter whether you gave everything or nothing last year, you have a chance to give as much of yourself as your willing to this year.  Let's make this year count, not just for ourselves, but for the good of those around us.  ~Kendra~
